Requirements (Required)

• 3+ years experience testing web systems, both using hands-on manual approach, and creating/coding automated testing (ex: Espresso, XCUITest, PlayWright).

• Experience designing/implementing tests, test management, optimizing tests.

• Solid understanding of Quality Assurance principles and methodologies.

• Ability to work closely with the development team on the design and implementation of new features and libraries for automation frameworks.

• Business-level English and conversational Japanese OR Business-level Japanese and at least reading and writing capabilities for English.

Requirements (Preferred)

• 1+ years of hands-on software development experience using any language.

• Experience in containers and container orchestration: NGINX, Docker, Kubernetes.

• Background in computer science or a related field.

• Product and service development experience.

• Experience working in a startup environment.

Desired Personality Traits

We are looking for an exceptional Platform QA Engineer (in Test) to support and develop exabase Studio.

You will be focused on solving challenging frameworks, scalability & stability problems that will enable the company to deliver a product at high-scale without compromising on quality, velocity, and coding standards.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in building reliable and robust test automation frameworks for both front-end and back-end applications. They will also have interest, background, and experience in DevOps, infrastructure as code, build automation, tooling and release engineering.

The candidate should also be passionate about providing world class customer service with a sharp focus on automating, deploying and managing a reliable, robust, high quality software CI/CD pipeline infrastructure and their associated services.

Salary

Annual salary of 6 million yen to 10.08 million yen

• Monthly salary: Paid in 12 installments of the annual salary

Minimum monthly salary of 500,000 yen (basic salary: 369,930 yen, assumed overtime pay for 45 hours: 130,070 yen)

Maximum monthly salary of 840,000 yen (basic salary: 621,510 yen, assumed overtime pay for 45 hours: 218,490 yen)

Additional overtime pay for working more than 45 hours will be provided

• Salary will be determined based on experience, skills, and preferences according to our company regulations.

• Work style is assumed to be discretionary labor system.
