At Exa Enterprise AI, we are developing two products in the field of generative AI:
This is a generative AI service for companies that introduces a highly confidential ChatGPT environment to the front lines of business. It streamlines tasks in the business field with reliable security and ease of operation. It includes features such as prohibited word registration and user log accumulation, enabling monitoring of company-wide usage, cost control, and user account management.
This is an IR operational efficiency support service that utilizes ChatGPT. It collaboratively creates anticipated Q&A collections for shareholder meetings and financial results briefings with AI, enabling IR personnel to focus on higher value-added tasks. It is provided in an environment that emphasizes robust security and compliance, and user-uploaded data is strictly managed.

Responsibilities
- Lead the development of generative AI products as a tech lead
- Handle various areas including backend, frontend, and cloud infrastructure as this is a startup in its launch phase
- Have the potential to lead the launch of new products in addition to managing existing ones
Development Style
- Emphasize code review and pair programming
- Consciously develop with a focus on code readability and maintainability
- Choose agile, waterfall, or ad hoc methods depending on the project

- Frontend: Next.JS, TypeScript, React
- Backend: Python, Django
- Others: AWS, git, datadog, Slack
Others
- To facilitate smooth product development, you are required to come to the Tokyo office once a week
- Communication within the team is primarily in English, while communication with other departments utilizes both English and Japanese
- At our headquarters, Exawizards, we hold weekly engineer study sessions where you can catch up on the latest technologies and insights
Experience to Gain in this Position
- Gain experience in leading a team as a tech lead and launching new products
- Work in a team with a high ratio of international members, providing a global perspective and environment
- Experience both the 1→10 and 0→1 phases as we have plans for both enhancing existing products and launching new ones
Required Qualifications
- Experience in leading a development team or a similar role
- More than 3 years of experience in developing web or mobile applications
- Basic knowledge of networks, databases, etc.
- Basic knowledge of algorithms and data structures
- Business level English skills
- Daily conversation level Japanese skills
Salary
Annual salary: 8.04 million yen to 13.2 million yen
- Monthly salary: Monthly installment of the annual salary
- Lower limit of monthly salary: 670,000 yen (Basic salary: 495,680 yen, assumed overtime pay for 45 hours: 174,320 yen)
- Upper limit of monthly salary: 1.11 million yen (Basic salary: 821,280 yen, assumed overtime pay for 45 hours: 288,720 yen)
- Additional overtime pay for working hours exceeding 45 hours will be provided
- The salary will be determined based on experience, skills, and preferences according to company regulations
- The working style, whether it is flexible/discretionary work system or as a manager/supervisor, will be determined based on the nature of the work
