Role Overview

Join as a Senior Frontend Engineer leading the development of Tadrill, a platform empowering organizations and employees to defend against modern cyberthreats—especially phishing attacks. Tadrill is a crucial component of a leading cybersecurity suite, used by over 2.8 million users globally. You’ll architect highly scalable, intuitive dashboards, turning complex security data into actionable insights, while driving both technical ownership and team engagement.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, build, and ship new frontend features for the Tadrill platform to deliver high-quality user experiences.
  • Monitor, test, and improve the existing codebase to ensure scalability, speed, and product stability.
  • Collaborate closely with Backend Engineers, Designers, and Product Managers to translate requirements into production-ready features.
  • Identify and execute on opportunities to optimize performance and development processes.
  • Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and maintain documentation for long-term maintainability.
  • Mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of communication and curiosity.

What We’re Looking For

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional frontend development (with modern frameworks such as Svelte, React, Vue, Solid, Angular, etc.)
  • Svelte experience: Used Svelte professionally, in personal projects, or possess a strong interest in working with it
  • B2B SaaS experience: Proven track record maintaining and scaling products where stability and user trust are critical
  • Technical leadership/mentoring experience in collaborative and cross-functional teams
  • High learning agility: Ability to quickly master new technical domains and stacks (e.g., cybersecurity)
  • Owner mindset: Ability to take responsibility for features from conception to deployment
  • English fluency: CEFR B2 or above (e.g., TOEIC 785+); Japanese is not required.
  • Cultural curiosity: Interest in international/multicultural working environments
  • Community involvement: Interest in contributing to open-source or the tech community

Nice-to-Have

  • Computer Science or related technical degree
  • Experience with Go or other backend languages
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure) and distributed systems
  • Understanding of cybersecurity concepts (email security, phishing simulations), especially in security awareness training
  • Experience with Google Workspace/Microsoft 365 integrations (e.g., Gmail add-ons, Outlook add-ins)
  • Technical project leadership or people management experience

Work Style & Employment Details

  • Work Style: Flexible hours with core time (11:00–16:00). Typical workday is 8 hours with a one-hour break.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Annual Salary: 8.5M–12.5M JPY (includes English Allowance and Physical Communication Bonus)
  • English/Language Allowance: 10,000–130,000 JPY/month (if requirements met)
  • Physical Communication Bonus: 4,000 JPY/day (for days at the office)
  • Transportation: Up to 35,000 JPY/month
