Overview

The Productivity Section is a team dedicated to supporting engineers within the development division. Key tasks include planning and operating internal events, data management, and a variety of responsibilities such as engineer recruitment, onboarding, and education.

As a member of this team, you will start by assisting with planning and operating internal events and supporting data management within the department. Over time, you will have the opportunity to engage in expanding internal content for engineers and contribute to event planning and development.

Most daily communication is in English; however, business-level Japanese is required for this position. This role is suitable for individuals interested in learning and using English in a work environment.


Responsibilities

  • Assist account management, including checking service usage and managing licenses.
  • Manage licenses for cloud services used by the division.
  • Data management using Google Slides and Google Spreadsheet.
  • Support organization of internal and external divisional events.
  • Participate in research, planning, and implementation of onboarding content, education, and internal events.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • Language:
    • Business-level Japanese proficiency, including reading, writing, and speaking (equivalent to JLPT N2 or above; certification not required), with the ability to understand invoices.
    • English proficiency for communication with colleagues (written and verbal).
  • Experience using spreadsheets and conducting online research as needed.
  • At least one year of full-time experience in either an English or Japanese work environment.
  • Willingness to learn and use new IT tools and services.

Work Schedule

  • Hours: 10 hours per week (e.g., 2 days per week, 4–5 hours per day)
  • Friday: Must work at the office (negotiable due to unavoidable circumstances); the second workday is negotiable.
  • Location: Shibuya Office (Onsite)

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly wage: 1,800 JPY/hour
  • Holidays: All days except designated workdays, Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, and December 29th – January 3rd.
