Role Summary
Seeking a Senior Software Engineer to take ownership of backend and web-platform development for a flagship cloud-security suite serving millions of users globally. Join the Email Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Team to build the core data protection engine for a mission-critical security ecosystem.

Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain new features using Go and other web technologies.
- Architect scalable, fault-tolerant services in cloud environments.
- Automate deployment, testing, monitoring, and documentation via CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Design, and Customer Success teams to deliver high-quality user experiences.
- Actively participate in code reviews and technical decision-making.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering culture.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience developing production-scale backend services with Go.
- Ability to lead technical initiatives, mentor junior engineers, and work collaboratively.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS) and distributed system concepts.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, automated testing, code documentation, and clean-code practices.
- Fluency in English (CEFR B2 or higher, e.g., TOEIC 785+). Japanese is not required.
- Interest in open-source contributions or tech community participation.
Preferred/Bonus Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience building large-scale distributed systems or B2B SaaS products.
- Familiarity with email security, secure file transmission, or cloud security products.
- Knowledge of DevOps tools (Terraform, IaC), Linux/MacOS/Unix-like environments.
- AWS certification (Solutions Architect, Developer, etc.).
- Team leadership experience.
Work Style & Employment Details
- Work Style: Flexible hours with designated core time (11:00–16:00), typically 8 hours per day.

- Work Location: Tokyo, Japan — Shibuya Headquarters
Compensation
- Annual salary: 8.5 to 12.5 million JPY
(includes English Allowance and Physical Communication Bonus) - Details on Assessment and Salary System
