Roles

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Python) to join our fast-paced, growing team. As part of the engineering team, you will build cloud-security solutions used by thousands of enterprise companies. Our flagship product provides functionalities such as access control, email filtering, online storage, and email archiving. The focus is on implementing state-of-the-art security, distributed and fault-tolerant deployments, and delivering an exceptional user experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain innovative features based on business needs
• Design scalable and fault-tolerant architecture for distributed cloud deployments
• Ensure high-quality deliverables using CI/CD pipelines, testing, and documentation
• Collaborate with Design, Product Management, and Customer Success teams to improve the product
• Participate in discussions and conduct code reviews
• Mentor junior engineers and improve team synergy

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with Python for backend development
• Strong background in building scalable web applications with Python
• Ability to mentor junior engineers and collaborate effectively
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Experience automating deployments via CI/CD pipelines
• Commitment to clean code and software documentation
• Fluency in English (Japanese is not required)
• Interest in open source projects or tech community involvement

Nice to Have

• Degree in Computer Science or related technical field
• Experience building large-scale distributed systems
• Experience with AWS and cloud computing platforms
• Experience building SaaS products
• Knowledge of web security and technologies related to access control or email fields
• Familiarity with DevOps practices (CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code)
• Experience in Linux/MacOS/Unix-like environments
• Team leadership capabilities

Compensation

• Annual Salary: 8 to 12 million JPY (includes English Allowance and Physical Communication Allowance)
