Overview

A leading cloud-security organization is seeking a Software Engineer to join their File DLP team, focusing on backend and web-platform development for the HENNGE One product suite. The role involves building secure, scalable enterprise SaaS solutions, collaborating across functions, and tackling both backend and full-stack challenges.

Role & Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain new features for a cloud security platform using Go and other web technologies.
• Automate deployment, testing, monitoring, and documentation with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code.
• Participate in product discovery with Product Management, Design, and Customer Success teams to deliver high-quality user experiences.
• Engage in code reviews, discussions, and technical decision-making.
• Assess risks in system architecture and design.
• Collaborate with other engineers and contribute to improving team processes and engineering culture.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience developing production-scale web applications with Go.
• Experience developing full-stack applications.
• Collaborative experience in team environments.
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructures (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and distributed systems concepts.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, automated testing, code documentation, and clean-code practices.
• Fluency in English (CEFR B2+/TOEIC 785+). Japanese not required.
• Interest in open source and tech community activities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or related technical fields.
• Experience building large-scale distributed systems or SaaS products.
• Knowledge of web security, access-control, email, or storage systems.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices (CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code).
• Experience with Linux, macOS, or other Unix-like environments.

Work Style & Compensation

• Work Hours: Flexible, with a core time from 11:00–16:00 (8 hours/day, 1-hour break).
• Place of Work: Tokyo, Japan — Shibuya Headquarters.
• Salary: 7–9 million JPY per year (inclusive of English Allowance and Physical Communication Bonus).
