Responsibilities
As an Assistant of the Productivity Section, you will support engineers within the development division in their professional growth. The Productivity Section handles various tasks within the division, including planning and organizing internal events, engineer recruitment, onboarding, and education.
In this role, you will initially assist with planning and organizing internal events and supporting data management within the department. As you progress, you will have the opportunity to contribute to expanding internal content for engineers and participate in the planning and development of events.
While most communication within the development team is conducted in English, this position requires Business-level Japanese proficiency. This role provides an ideal environment for individuals interested in improving their English skills while working. Job description
- Support the organization of internal and external events in the division.
- Assist in account management, including checking service usage and ordering licenses.
- Manage licenses for the cloud services used by the division, including data management (Google Slide, Spreadsheet).
- Assist in researching and planning internal onboarding content, education, and internal events.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Language: Business-level proficiency in either Japanese or English. Minimum requirements for each language are as follows:
- Business-level Japanese proficiency, including reading, writing, and speaking, with the ability to understand invoices (equivalent to JLPT N2 or above; certification not required).
- English: Ability to communicate with colleagues in English, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in spreadsheet functions. Ability to conduct internet research.
- Willingness to learn and use new IT tools and services.
Ideal candidate profile
- Proactive and self-motivated.
- Willing to ask questions when things are unclear.
- Detail-oriented.
Work day/hours
10 hours per week (e.g., 2 days/week-ish, 4-5 hours/day)
- Must work on Fridays at the office (negotiable in certain circumstances). Other working days are negotiable.
