About the position
We are seeking a Data Analyst with a passion for leveraging data to drive decision-making and business insights across the organization. As a Data Analyst, you will work closely with various teams to interpret data, uncover trends, and deliver actionable insights that help inform key business strategies.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Business, Engineering, and Operations) to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights that inform business decisions.
- Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvements or new business initiatives.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations that help teams monitor key metrics and performance.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reports and analysis.
- Work closely with the Engineering team to improve data collection processes and ensure reliable data pipelines.
- Implement access controls where necessary to manage sensitive data and comply with internal policies.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis or related field.
- Conduct ad-hoc data analysis and present findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong background in data analysis with advanced knowledge of SQL.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Excel) to develop insightful reports and dashboards.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
- Experience working with large datasets and understanding data integrity and validation processes.
- Excellent communication skills to explain complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
Nice to Haves
- Familiarity with programming languages used for data analysis (e.g., Python, R).
- Experience with statistical analysis and data modeling techniques.
- Knowledge of data warehousing and cloud platforms (e.g., Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery).
- Experience with data governance practices to ensure data quality and consistency across the organization.
- Familiarity with self-service BI environments that empower teams to explore data independently.
