Description

LegalOn Technologies is looking to hire a Software Engineer, Frontend to join their global team. The company released their AI contract review service, "LegalOn Global," in the United States in April 2023, aiming to provide innovative solutions to the global legal tech market using their unique AI technology.

The position requires collaborating with the global team to develop frontend solutions tailored to the needs of the local market and contribute to the growth of the global market. The successful candidate will be responsible for frontend development of products targeting the US market.

To ensure the success of the products in the foreign market, it is essential to not only localize them but also develop them according to the specific needs of the local market. At the same time, code standardization with the Japanese development team is also necessary.

The role involves collaborating with both the US and Japanese teams to address advanced themes such as achieving local market needs and component standardization.

Fluency in spoken English within the global team is not mandatory, but strong English reading comprehension and written communication skills are required. Requirements

Preferred Experiences

• Research

  • Master's degree or research experience in scientific fields

• Web Development

  • Knowledge of web accessibility
  • Knowledge of software architecture
  • Design ability with consideration for performance optimization such as network requests, algorithms, etc.
  • Experience working on large-scale projects with frontend development as the main focus and taking responsibility
  • Experience using prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch
  • Text writing skills with a focus on user readability
  • UI design experience

• MS Office Related

  • Development of plugins for Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Development experience related to MS Office file formats (Office OpenXML)

• Programming

  • Text processing programming
  • Programming experience in processing specific file formats
  • Binary format analysis

• Design and Maintenance

  • Software architecture design experience focusing on module and class division
  • Ability to write stable code with consideration for error handling
  • Experience in improving team code quality and productivity

• English

  • Business-level or higher English conversation skills, particularly in listening

Working Conditions

Salary

7.7 million yen to 15 million yen, depending on experience and skills
