■Job Summary

We are looking for a visionary Software Engineering Manager who leads the engineers of the Search and Recommendation team and provides users with the best matching experience.

■Key Responsibilities

●What mission or challenges will you take on?

• Develop and improve search and recommendation features, which form the core of multiple services provided by LegalOn Technologies, to solve user issues

• Find accurate and semantically relevant information from a wide variety of corpora, ranging from structured texts such as contracts and legal documents to free-form texts such as legal matters, and provide them to users

●What tasks will you undertake?

• Define a long-term strategy for the development team through discussions with stakeholders such as engineers, designers, and product managers

• Engage in technical discussions with team members and Tech Leads, leading to problem-solving

• Manage projects and take responsibility for delivering features

• Actively participate in the development, evaluation, and recruitment of engineers to continuously grow the development team

• Manage and improve the entire software development lifecycle, including requirements definition, design, testing, and deployment

Preferred Experiences

■Preferred qualifications

• Deep understanding of full components of search & recommendation systems, including search infrastructure, ranking algorithm, and modern ecosystems such as Elasticsearch

• Practical experience in machine learning and natural language processing

• Practical experience as a Project Manager

• Experience in developing and operating microservices

• Practical experience with technologies such as Python, Java, SQL, gRPC, and Kubernetes

Salary

14.4 to 25 million yen per year

This is not a cross-border full-remote position, and you are required to come to Japan.
