Job Summary
Team members in this position are responsible for leading the back-end development and operation of creator-focused services for sticker, emoji, and theme features.
Work includes developing features for the registration and sale of stickers, themes, and emojis, as well as related review processes and sales management.
You will contribute to designing and developing a flexible service architecture that enables creators to seamlessly offer a diverse range of products.

Responsibilities
- Develop and operate services in Kotlin and Perl environments.
- Facilitate migration from Perl to Kotlin when modifying existing features.
- Lead back-end service development for user-facing features.
- Design architectures that enhance efficiency and flexibility.
- Ensure high standards of availability, reliability, and fault tolerance.
- Support team members in software implementation and operational best practices.
- Collaborate with other teams, participate in code/design reviews, and support high-quality implementation.
Scope of Change: There is a possibility of reassignment to any duties as determined by the company.

Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of server-side application development experience.
- Experience and skills in issue handling and incident response.
- Knowledge of and experience with scalable data storage technology (e.g., MySQL).
- Fundamental computer science knowledge.
- Business-level verbal communication skills in Japanese or English.
- Business-level written communication skills in English.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- JVM application tuning and monitoring.
- Development experience with Kotlin.
- Experience in coaching, management, and/or technical team leadership.
- Kubernetes-based application development.

Expected Annual Salary: JPY 9,000,000 - JPY 14,000,000

Form: Monthly salary (including fixed overtime allowance)

- Base salary: JPY 465,000 - JPY 725,000
- Fixed overtime allowance: JPY 134,000 - JPY 208,000
(Fixed overtime allowance covers 35 hours; additional allowance paid for overtime beyond 35 hours)
