Team Mission

  • Responsible for group-wide recruitment, covering new businesses and split into Engineering/Creative and Business/Corporate domains.
  • Recruiters leverage their expertise to lead hiring for specific roles across the group.
  • This position focuses on acquiring engineering and creative talent vital to company growth. Final responsibilities are determined by your experience, preferences, and company needs.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute recruitment activities in engineering/creative domains in line with business, organizational, and technical strategies.
  • Collaborate with overseas offices, hire international talent, and drive global recruitment efforts.
  • Develop and execute bold recruitment strategies using all company assets and diverse channels, including event planning and direct sourcing.
  • Lead relationship-building and coordinate with internal/external partners, focusing on an excellent candidate experience.
  • Oversee the entire recruitment process: document screening, skill assessments, interviews, progress management, offers, closing, and onboarding support.
  • Use recruitment tools such as:
    • Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Calendar, Meet, etc.)
    • Notion
    • Slack
    • Workable (ATS)
    • LinkedIn
    • Various AI tools (internal, Gemini for Google Workspace, etc.)
    • Other appropriate recruitment tools as needed

Unique Opportunities

  • Challenge and innovate global recruitment strategies targeting diverse, high-caliber candidates worldwide.
  • Help define new roles and recruitment processes suited for an "AI Native" organization.
  • Recruit not only engineers but also professionals in creative (e.g., designers, UX researchers) and business/corporate domains.
  • Contribute to company branding and build networks through participation in tech conferences and event planning, both domestic and international.
  • Experience hiring across a broad business and technology spectrum, including fintech ventures and new businesses, addressing unique recruitment challenges for each.

Requirements

Required Experience & Skills

  • Alignment with the mission and values
  • 3+ years in recruitment at a business company or agency
  • Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English
  • Experience in recruitment planning and project management
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn about trends in technology, business, products, organizations, and markets
  • Ability to identify and recruit necessary talent for the organization

Preferred Experience & Skills

  • Employer branding experience (event planning, owned media, etc.)
  • Experience recruiting for engineering/creative roles
  • Experience recruiting talent internationally (outside Japan)
  • Knowledge or experience in Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) activities
  • Familiarity with AI utilization and data analysis

  • Japanese: Independent (CEFR - B2)
  • English: Independent (CEFR - B2)
