Qualifications

Required Experience/Skills

  • Shared belief in the mission and values.
  • 5+ years of practical experience in research related to services/products, or equivalent knowledge/skills.
  • Experience collaborating with other teams to improve services/products.
  • Ability to autonomously manage the end-to-end research process (planning, analysis, reporting) including:
    • Interviews, surveys, field/diary studies, or other methods.
    • Research topics such as market understanding, need identification, concept/usability tests, retrospectives.
  • Ability to communicate analysis results for decision-making by stakeholders.
  • Strong curiosity and empathy to understand the user perspective.

Preferred Experience/Skills

  • Ability to develop research strategies for business roadmaps.
  • Experience reporting to and discussing with business leaders/senior management.
  • Experience in people management or organization building as a researcher.
  • Experience in related fields such as product design, management, engineering, or data analysis.
  • Workshop design and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to extract/aggregate data using SQL.
  • Diverse life experience.
