Overview
This position involves managing development projects for B2B services (e.g., Raksul Enterprise) and fostering collaboration with overseas development teams (Vietnam, India, etc.).
While the formal role title is Project Manager, the team is searching for someone with an Engineering Manager's mindset, capable of driving projects forward from both technical and team leadership perspectives.
Responsibilities
Strengthening Collaboration with Overseas Teams
- Lead regular meetings in English to monitor project progress and resolve issues
- Support decision-making with technical understanding
- Build trust with international team members through business trips
Project Execution and Completion
- Manage all phases: requirements, design, implementation, testing, and release
- Clarify business requirements and prioritize features with Product Managers (PdM)
- Use tools like ClickUp, Notion, and GitHub for task and progress management
- Visualize and improve team performance with metrics such as velocity and utilization
- Plan and execute test strategies with QA teams
- Identify risks proactively and act before issues arise
- Leverage AI tools for reporting, status visualization, and improving tracking efficiency
Reporting and Stakeholder Visibility
- Provide status updates using velocity tracking, deliverable visualization, and qualitative reports
- Prepare comprehensive reports balancing output quality and progress
Building Trust and Continuous Support
- Offer flexible, tailored support to the team's situation
- Respond quickly to issues and changes to enable team confidence

Required Skills & Experience
- 2+ years of practical web application development experience
- Hands-on experience as a Project Manager or Engineering Manager
- Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English
- Experience leading projects with overseas development teams (Vietnam, India, etc.)
- Familiarity with tools such as GitHub, ClickUp, Notion, Jira

- Strong technical background: able to participate in code reviews and design conversations
