Department Overview The Payment System Department is the core division supporting Rakuten Group's payment infrastructure, responsible for the design, development, and operation of Payment Service Provider systems. We provide diverse payment methods to merchants—including credit card payments, convenience store payments, carrier billing, and deferred payments—ultimately supporting systems used by tens of millions of end users in their daily shopping experiences. By leveraging cutting-edge technologies and engaging with services from the very top stream, our engineers gain invaluable experience and constant intellectual stimulation. We are currently seeking Application Engineer (Java) who can effectively proceed with these projects and lead them to success.
