Job Description: Job Description: Business Overview The FinTech Group Company provides various fintech (financial) services, including payment services such as Rakuten Card, point programs, internet banking services, securities trading services, and insurance services. Rakuten's strength lies in providing a wide range of fintech services from online to offline. Department Overview Rakuten Payment is the company responsible for payment services within the Rakuten Group. We provide payment services such as "Rakuten Pay" and "Rakuten Point Card," connecting merchant companies (stores where Rakuten Payment services can be used) with users, contributing to the promotion of a more convenient cashless society. The Customer Service Development Department is a division that develops cross-functional services for Rakuten Payment's merchant companies and internal use. We are responsible for the entire process of developing platform services that span across various payment services, from the planning stage to post-release operations. We handle a wide range of services, including management tools for merchants to support business efficiency and sales growth, AI-powered data integration platforms and fraud detection systems to support internal operations. Since we are not limited to specific businesses, we can acquire a broad range of market trends and business knowledge related to Rakuten Payment services. Position: Why We Hire We are looking for individuals who can work with existing members to create services while incorporating new technologies to strengthen our organization as the services and products we oversee expand. Position Details As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing product development projects and business DX promotion projects that are provided cross-functionally to Rakuten Payment's merchant companies and within Rakuten Payment. You will conceptualize and plan products that can contribute to users and business, and be responsible for stakeholder management, ROI definition, execution formation design, project deliverable definition, risk management, and delivery planning. Work Image You will lead the project to success by working together with project managers, product managers, and multiple engineering teams while conducting risk management, WBS management, and visualizing dependencies. Number of products/services managed simultaneously: approximately 10 services Number of projects per service: 4-5 projects Scope of Responsibility - Setting project milestones and building consensus - Organizing project formation - Defining project deliverables - Risk management - Understanding project status and reporting Work Environment Project managers and engineers work together as a team (4 to 9 members per team) to develop and operate services.
