This is a crucial position that supports the foundation of Rakuten Life Insurance, using new technologies to prepare the necessary environment for applications to run, creating an environment where business divisions can work more easily, and improving Rakuten Life Insurance's services. We will support the Infrastructure of Rakuten Life Insurance. You will handle daily system operations for applications tightly integrated with insurance business processes, while collaborating with development teams across the Information Systems Division to gain a broad view of the company’s systems. Position: Why We Hire This position is an additional hire to strengthen system operations and promote the in-house execution of system operations. Position Details You will be responsible for managing system operations and driving continuous operational improvements for Rakuten Life Insurance’s insurance systems. - Operational management and progress tracking of system operations team members - Planning, proposing, and leading operational improvement initiatives - Hands-on system operations, including message monitoring, application releases, job releases (JP1), and incident response Work Environment System Infrastructure Department Total: 40 Employees: 14 Contractors: 26 System Infrastructure Department consists of three groups: System Infrastructure Development Group, System Operation Group, and the Network Management Group. You are slated to be assigned to System Operation Group.
