Technical Product Manager - BSS Product Management Department (BSPMD)

Job Description: Business Overview The Technology Platforms Division (TPD) drives the growth of the Rakuten Ecosystem by delivering innovative, high-quality technology platforms characterized by integrated control and strategic partnerships. Within TPD, the Telecom Business Application Supervisory Department (TBASD) develops and maintains a unified, high-quality Business Support System (BSS) for Rakuten Mobile. We deliver agile, scalable solutions across the customer lifecycle and continuously enhance system performance through close collaboration with stakeholders. Department Overview The Business Support System Product Management Department (BSPMD) is responsible for providing a unified product strategy for the Business Support System (BSS) that integrates with the Rakuten ecosystem to maximize Rakuten Mobile's business potential. Our core missions are managing the product development lifecycle by focusing on project ROI, building a unified BSS platform, and enhancing our AI-driven platform capabilities. Position: Why We Hire Hiring employee for increasing employee who can define requirements, cover system design, functional design, delivery, operation etc. 　 Position Details - Define/Clarify business requirement - Clarify system requirement, function requirement, integration requirement, Operational requirement. - Communication with all stakeholders including other companies/vendors, and development teams. - Management backlog, operation improvement, production operation. - Issue handling in production. Mandatory Qualifications: - 8+ years of total experience, with a minimum of 5 years in product management or high-level design/R&D at a vendor. - Strong understanding of IT technical skills, including protocols, databases, and coding. - Proven experience in clarifying business and system requirements. - Proficient in creating functional and interface specification documents. - Experienced in developing comprehensive test cases and scenarios. - Hands-on experience with production troubleshooting. - Demonstrated ability to manage parallel development projects effectively. - High proficiency in Japanese communication (JLPT N2 level or above). Desired Qualifications: - Experience of BSS in telecom industry. - Experience of development/coding/SQL. - Experience of Billing/Payment/EC Portal/API based integration.
