Test Automation Solution Engineer - EC Marketplace Development Department (ECMPD)

Job Description: Department Overview We are seeking a Test Solution Engineer to promote Quality Assurance (QA) activities within Rakuten Ichiba. The Test Solution Group drives test automation using lowcode/no-code solutions, contributing to handle more amount of handle project w/ good quality and efficiently. Position: Position Details Responsibilities - Common Platform Construction and Standardization. - Build test automation development platform framework and process that can be used commonly across multiple products and standardize test design, test execution, and report creation. - Monitor the effort of test automation platforms tools and process, identify areas for improvement, and continuously improve them. Also, establish a support system to respond to inquiries from users. - Create easy-to-understand documentation explaining how to use automation tools and platforms, and provide training programs. - Automation Keyword Management in Low-Code Solutions. - Manage, organize, and improve keywords used throughout the product to promote the efficient use of low-code solutions. - Participate in keyword reviews for each product and provide appropriate advice. - KPI Tracking and Action. - Based on the results of resource analysis, derive appropriate actions and contribute to optimizing test strategies and resource allocation. - Track KPIs such as automated regression test coverage, test case productivity, and pass rate, and promote improvement activities. - Collaboration with Development Teams Regarding Automated Test Stability. - Lead communication with development teams regarding data stability, code stability, and environmental stability of automated tests, and jointly promote measures. 　 Mandatory Qualifications: - Extensive knowledge and at least 5 years of experience in software testing (for an e-commerce environment is preferred). - Significant knowledge and at least 3 years of experience in test automation (experience with low-code solutions is preferred). - Proven ability to make data-driven decisions based on resource analysis. - Solid knowledge and experience in test case design. - Demonstrated experience in KPI management and driving improvement activities. - Thorough knowledge and experience in quality management. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively work with related departments and execute initiatives. - Experience leading cross-organizational projects (preferred). - Proficiency in programming (Strongly desired: Experience in creating test automation scripts). - Business-level English communication skills. 　 Desired Qualifications: - Strong sense of responsibility for improving quality. - Team-oriented and able to communicate actively. - Eager to learn new technologies and knowledge. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think and act independently. - Ability to involve others and act proactively. - Not afraid of change and willing to actively take on new challenges. 　 Other Information: Additional information on English Qualification TOEIC Score 800 above or possess equivalent abilities #engineer #applicationsengineer #commerce #RakutenIchiba Languages: English (Overall - 3 - Advanced), Japanese (Overall - 3 - Advanced) In Japanese, Rakuten stands for ‘optimism.’ It means we believe in the future.
