AI Agent Technical Lead

Contract Type: Full-time Employee
Salary Range: 7,000,000 ~ 14,000,000 JPY

The Role

Reporting directly to the CTO, you will play a strategic and technical leadership role in developing next-generation AI Agents. The position includes significant engagement with strategic decision-making and product direction, innovation through collaboration with stakeholders, and leading large teams delivering cutting-edge enterprise solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership for AI Agent development projects
  • Design and select system architectures
  • Provide technical support and conduct code reviews for team members (senior and junior)
  • Coordinate technically with external stakeholders (Product, UX, Research, etc.)
  • Evaluate cutting-edge LLM and agent technologies and formulate adoption strategies

What We're Looking For

Required

  • Meaningful experience building and scaling production systems
  • Passion for end-user experience, striving to delight customers
  • Experience leading development teams or managing multi-member projects
  • Large Language Model Integration: Experience integrating LLM APIs (e.g. OpenAI, Anthropic) into agent workflows
  • Agent Solution Design: Ability to design and build deployable AI agent solutions and best-practice templates
  • Cloud Platform Expertise: Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure (deploy, scale, secure AI services)
  • Database Design & Optimization: Designing scalable schemas, indexing, query optimization for high-performance apps
  • Understanding and practical experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP)
  • Business-level English proficiency

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with agent orchestration frameworks (e.g. LangChain, Rasa, Restack)
  • Experience with benchmarking and evaluating agent accuracy, reliability, on-brand performance
  • Experience promoting projects in startups or R&D environments
  • Experience with internal and external technical presentations/public speaking
