Job Description: Research Engineer (Creative Vision)
Key Responsibilities
- Advance the capabilities, scalability, and efficiency of foundational image and multimodal generation models.
- Transform research prototypes developed by scientists into practical, production-ready solutions that deliver real business value.
Mission
- Own engineering systems that turn research ideas into robust, scalable, and reproducible assets for the team and downstream product partners.
- Build and maintain training, evaluation, and inference workflows, ensuring research outputs can be reliably demonstrated, tested, and integrated.
Required Skills and Experience
- Hands-on experience in generative model (post)training or fine-tuning.
- Experience in (visual) data curation and preprocessing with LLM/MLLM.
- Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- Strong background in computer science and data science principles.
- Proven research or industrial experience in visual generation and/or multimodal generation.
- Solid understanding of recent visual generative models (e.g., diffusion, flow matching, AR) and experience in training/finetuning those models.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Experience with large-scale training using FSDP, Deepspeed, Megatron-LM, etc., as well as low precision training and model parallelism.
- Contributions to open-source AI projects or notable GitHub projects related to visual or multimodal generation.
- Knowledge of machine learning techniques for data collection, cleaning, and preprocessing.
- Experience working with data beyond visual modality, such as audio, speech, or language.

Working Hours
- Flexible work arrangements available
- Standard hours: 9:00 AM – 5:45 PM
- Break: 1 hour
- Overtime: Required as needed
Salary and Bonuses
- Monthly Salary: ¥541,667 – ¥1,500,000
- Estimated Annual Salary: ¥6,500,000 – ¥18,000,000
- The upper limit is not guaranteed.
- Salaries include base pay plus fixed overtime allowance (35 hours).
- Overtime pay applies only to non-managerial positions if actual overtime exceeds the fixed 35 hours.
- Additional incentives may be provided.
Allowances
- Commuting allowance: up to ¥150,000 per month
- Non-managerial employees: eligible for overtime, night shift, holiday work, and commuting allowances
- Managerial employees: eligible for management, night shift, and commuting allowances
Holidays and Leave
- Two days off per week (Saturday and Sunday), national holidays
- Year-end and New Year holidays: December 29 – January 3
- Additional company-designated holidays
- Annual paid leave: 6–21 days (varies by month of joining)
