About Us

We are Zeals - “Designing conversations. Driving conversions.” Zeals is not just another chatbot; our automated chat solution and conversational technology change how consumers purchase or act online. We help brands convert customers who appear "unengaged" into "valuable" ones through designed chat on messaging apps. Utilizing AI-powered, human-designed conversation flows, we enable brands to create personalized, automated conversations while developing a deeper understanding of their consumers' preferences.

Your Typical Day With Us

• Ensure our entire system and infrastructure are functional and thoroughly available.
• Design infrastructure that can scale with our growing business needs.
• Continuously improve CI/CD pipelines.
• Promote best practices and engineering excellence.
• Work closely with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) while managing multiple environments.
• Maintain vigilance regarding security.
• Monitor existing systems and serve as a first responder to potential incidents.

What You’ll Need

• 2+ years of experience working with either AWS or GCP.
• 2+ years of experience with monitoring systems (we use Grafana).
• At least 1 year of experience working with Kubernetes.
• At least 1 year of experience with CI/CD pipelines (we use GitHub Actions, Helm, and Argo CD).
• At least 1 year of programming experience in any language (we use Go, Bash, and Python).
• Currently eligible to work in Japan.
• Business-level English proficiency.

What Makes You Stand Out

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, especially Terraform.
• Experience developing Kubernetes operators.
• Basic Japanese language skills.
• Experience with MongoDB monitoring and querying.
