About the Incubation Team
The Incubation Team operates as a "startup within a startup," serving as an autonomous engine for building new businesses and products from the ground up.

Job Responsibilities
- Technical Strategy & Architecture: Define the architectural roadmap for core backend services. Make high-stakes decisions on tech stacks, data modeling, and system design.
- Engineering Leadership: Mentor senior engineers, conduct code reviews, and elevate engineering standards across squads.
- Product Incubation: Lead technical execution of "0 to 1" product launches, balancing speed and system integrity.
- System Modernization: Drive elimination of technical debt and lead migration to distributed, scalable architectures.
Required Qualifications
- 9+ years in web application development, with ownership of technical strategy for a product line/business unit.
- Experience managing or technically leading large organizations (influencing 30+ engineers).
- Ability to align new features and product roadmaps with market trends.
- Proven facilitation in high-pressure environments with conflicting stakeholder interests.
- Deep expertise in a domain such as Distributed Systems, Rust, or Data Engineering.
- Fluent English; able to participate fully in complex, multicultural team discussions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Development experience in Docker-native environments (strongly preferred).
- Backend/web app development using statically typed languages (strongly preferred).
- Experience selecting technologies with balanced technical and business judgment.
- Experience developing asynchronous job services and building related infrastructure from scratch.
- Proven technical leadership in productivity (CI/CD pipelines, code standards; especially around Docker).
- Full Stack Development experience (ideally with React.js).
- Practical knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) in complex domains.
- Experience with microservices architecture in distributed environments.
- Awareness of security best practices in web app development.
- Leadership and completion of multi-stakeholder projects.

- Estimated annual salary: 12 million to 18 million yen

Work Environment
- Work Location: Hybrid model (1–3 days/week in office or 1–2 visits/month for remote team members)
- Office Attendance:
- Major metro areas: ~1–3 days/week
- Remote/regional: ~1–2 times/month to Tokyo or Osaka on business trip basis
- Increased in-person work possible for critical phases
- Working Hours: Flexible (core hours 11:00–16:00)
- Probation: 3 months (no change to salary/benefits)
